The project also replaces the existing emergency generator paralleling switchgear in the central plant, provide an emergency power monitoring system in the central plant control room, provide emergency power system feeders in compliance with the National Electrical Code requirements to segregate emergency and essential power system circuits, and replace feeders as needed from emergency generators to generator switchgear and from generator switchgear to the automatic transfer switches.
