In 2017 Mount Pleasant Waterworks began to explore the need to expand their exsiting space and grow the square footages by 20% to account for future staff growth for several decades.

 

The expansion will affect all their departments and the priorities include: relocating Technical Services with the Data Center, the new construction on second floor (above flood plane), a 225 seat auditorium to host multiple types of events, the consolidation of their field services offices to promote a seamless team / work flow, the consolidation of Customer Communication department into one location on the first floor and the expansion of the existing warehouse space with the addition of a loading dock for external deliveries.
