EAST TOWER EXPANSION

MEMORIAL HERMANN - THE WOODLANDS HOSPITAL

Shenandoah, Texas  |  310,000 square feet |   Completion 2013

One of the only hospital Construction projects in Houston during this time period due to the economic slow down of 2009. This project went forward because of the timing to get it started quickly and secure the commitments of the administration and contractors alike. This project combined difficult phasing with highly technical spaces. The new hospital tower was comprised of 18-operating rooms, 144 med-surgical beds, a new central plant, central sterile, and 2 therapy gyms. Our team focused on ensuring that the hospital administration was planning not just for the current capacity need but also putting in key infrastructure to reduce maintenance and expansion costs on future projects.

This hospital became the most profitable hospital in the system and continued to grow with their success.
